1968年から1976年までのインストゥルメンタル・ミュージックをコンパイルした2枚組コンピレーション『THE SOUND GALLERY』の第2弾。96年。
KEITH MANSFIELDが手掛けたパワフルなビッグバンド・ナンバー「POWERHOUSE POP」(SAMPLE1)をはじめ、THE DOORSによる大名曲「LIGHT MY FIRE (ハートに火をつけて)」を JOHN ANDREWS TARTAGLIAがカバーしたSAMPLE2、BIG BEATムーブメントで人気を博したUKのユニット、PROPELLERHEADSもネタに使っていたSAMPLE3なども収録。※ジャケット右上に若干のウォーターダメージあり。
